DMA Signs is now a fully accredited supplier under the Government Procurement Service. Following a rigorous evaluation process, DMA Signs scored the highest marks in both the stock signs and bespoke signs categories: the only sign manufacturer and installer in the United Kingdom to achieve such recognition.
The Government Procurement Service scheme has been set in place to streamline processes, reduce paperwork and lower costs for the UK’s national Public Sector. Under the ‘savings for the nation’ initiative, DMA Signs provides professional support where it matters and advises on technical issues including energy saving techniques and environmental improvements.
Recognising the increasing pressures put on NHS budgets and other areas of public expenditure, DMA Signs is meticulous with specifications and is committed to simplifying and improving processes for the design, manufacture and installation of robust and cost-effective signage.
Paul Lovelock, Director of Government Procurement Service at DMA Signs explains why the accreditation matters to facilities and property managers in all public sectors, in particular the NHS:
“With over 25 years’ experience working in the NHS sector, DMA’s highly skilled staff fully understand the requirements and constraints of working in the healthcare environment and can offer unbeatable specialist advice and guidance. We save managers’ time through the simplification of processes, and they can be reassured regarding the quality of our work through our extensive portfolio of completed signage projects in the healthcare arena.”
Under the Government Procurement Scheme DMA Signs has recently designed and installed internal and external full signage solutions at: Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, Medway NHS Foundation Trust and Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
